Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 5-8 years of experience in a similar role.
- Proficiency in JavaScript frameworks, particularly AngularJS and Node.js.
- Experience with REST services and connecting to databases like MongoDB, MS SQL, Oracle DB, MySQL.
- Knowledge of front-end technologies including HTML5 and CSS3.
- Experience working in an agile methodology.
- Experience deploying Node.js applications to cloud environments, preferably AWS.
- Familiarity with web stacks, libraries, and frameworks.
- Exposure or experience in Smart contract development/maintenance/integration.
Responsibilities:
- Work as part of a team developing applications and services using Agile development methods.
- Contribute to team and delivery improvements in process and infrastructure.
- Support front-end developers in building customer-facing UI and back-end services for payment processing administration and management.
- Code, test, and operate Node.js based services.
- Utilize tools to identify and fix defects before they become issues.
- Develop and maintain all server-side components.
- Ensure optimal performance of the central database and responsiveness to front-end requests.
- Collaborate with front-end developers on integration of elements.
- Design customer-facing UI and back-end services for various business processes.
- Develop high-performance applications by writing testable, reusable, and efficient code.
- Implement effective security protocols, data protection measures, and storage solutions.
- Run diagnostic tests, repair defects, and provide technical support.
- Document Node.js processes, including database schemas, and prepare reports.
- Recommend and implement improvements to processes and technologies.
- Stay informed of advancements in the field of Node.js development.
