About the job: Senior Solution Architect
Role Description:
- Plays a significant role in solution definition, implementation, and governance, ensuring adherence to best practices, architecture standard guidelines, and reference architecture.
- Works closely with software engineers, testers, other architects, and platform owners to define and execute resilient, reusable, secured, scalable, and highly performing solution architecture.
- Seeks to ensure optimum utilization of existing technology, promote open standards, cost-effectiveness, and resilience.
Responsibilities:
- Drive end-to-end solution development.
- Analyze patterns and trends to propose the best fit for meeting business requirements.
- Act as a technical advisor to platform owners, squad members, and software engineers.
- Ensure governance and adherence to defined Enterprise Architecture standards and quality measures.
- Provide technical consultancy to IT and business stakeholders on technology best practices and problem analysis.
- Propose architectural enhancements to realize security, agility, performance, and cost-effectiveness.
- Maximize leverage of existing technology capabilities.
- Promote resilient, secure, and cost-effective design patterns.
- Present, justify, and document the introduction of new technology as per the enterprise architecture governance framework.
- Maintain awareness of technology and industry trends.
Ideal skills and background:
- Master's or Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems management, or related field.
- More than 6 years of experience in software development/system design, with banking sector experience.
- Experience in development and design with Java and Spring.
- Familiarity with microservices, SOA principles, and cloud-native designs.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented analysis and design, client/server systems, and integration patterns.
- Knowledge of API development, deployment, governance, and management practices.
- Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Deployment pipelines.
- Understanding of technology trends and their application in Financial Services.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Fluent in English.
