Summary

We are offering a full-time, on-site position for an Algorithmic Trading Developer at Borderless Security in Dubai. As a part of our dynamic team, you will craft and implement trading algorithms, conduct back-testing, refine trading strategies, and collaborate closely with our team of traders and quantitative analysts. You will play an integral role in analyzing market data, enhancing trading performance, and engaging with cross-disciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable proficiency in programming with a portfolio of code in languages such as Python, C++, or Java.
• Solid background in algorithmic trading strategy development with evidence of past projects.
• In-depth knowledge of financial markets, trading systems, and infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with data analysis, statistical modeling, and ability to present past work.
• Proficiency with trading platforms and tools, with practical examples of usage.
• Knowledge of risk management and portfolio optimization, with a history of applied skills.
• Problem-solving prowess and analytical aptitude, with case studies to showcase during the interview.
• Ability to operate effectively under pressure and within tight deadlines.
• Exceptional communication and teamwork capabilities.
• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Finance, or a related field is required.
• Certifications in finance or quantitative analysis would be an asset.

Interview Process

• Candidates will be expected to present and discuss their code and previous projects.
• A technical interview that includes live coding or a review of past coding projects is part of the evaluation.
