About the job
About You: As a Senior Web Developer, you'll contribute directly to company-wide objectives across different team layers. You'll work with product, data, and design counterparts to discover, ideate, and solve customer problems. Additionally, you'll shape the vision and strategy of the frontend chapter, driving key initiatives and coordinating mentorship efforts.
Responsibilities:
- Designing and developing complex software solutions.
- Collaborating with the team to design and implement experiments, leveraging data-driven insights.
- Writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
- Mentoring and guiding other developers, providing technical expertise and support.
- Conducting code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to standards.
- Promoting best practices in software development and contributing to technical strategy.
- Participating in architectural discussions and decisions.
- Fostering an experiment culture, encouraging innovation and continuous improvement.
Technical Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as a React web developer.
- Expertise in web application development, covering the entire lifecycle.
- Proficiency in React.js, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Experience with state management libraries like Redux and modern frontend frameworks like Next.js.
- Integration of RESTful services and APIs into web applications.
- Understanding of web security practices and secure coding principles.
- Familiarity with optimization and bundling tools like Webpack and Babel.
- Proficient use of Git for collaborative development.
- Strong grasp of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.
- Knowledgeable in analytics tools for tracking user behavior.
- Experience in implementing automated testing platforms and conducting unit tests.
- Ability to work with existing code bases, refactor them, and enhance overall code quality.
- Hands-on experience with popular UI component libraries like Material-UI.
