Job Description:
Our client, a market-leading Hedge Fund headquartered in Dubai, is seeking a Senior Quantitative Developer to join their new Futures Trading Desk. The firm's team integrates innovative technology and trading strategies, utilizing a sophisticated research platform and development environment to realize consistent trading alphas. We are looking for an extremely talented and motivated individual to collaborate with a team competitive in global financial markets.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the PM in developing, optimizing, and evolving the firm's research pipeline and strategy development.
- Identify prospects for further optimization and performance enhancements through research to realize trading results.
- Build out greenfield projects and write the software code for new strategies.
- Build components and new infrastructure to maintain new trading strategies, utilizing testing and debugging skills as part of the development process.
- Work collaboratively with traders and developers to provide realistic project timelines, estimates, and ensure team accountability.
- Provide high-level technical and investment analytics support to the trading desk.
- Stay continuously up-to-date and informed on industry developments and trends to maintain the firm’s competitive edge and awareness.
Requirements:
- A Bachelors, Masters, or PhD degree with more than 5 years of experience in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, or a similar field.
- Experience coding in C++ and Python.
- Strong organizational and software architecture skills with a proven understanding of optimizing and profiling strategies.
