Company Overview: Emaratech is seeking a skilled Network Engineer to join their team. As a leading technology and consulting company, Emaratech focuses on designing, implementing, and maintaining cutting-edge network infrastructure solutions. The Network Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring high availability, performance, and security of the company's network.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement network solutions aligned with business requirements.
- Configure and maintain network equipment, including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
- Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement optimizations.
- Implement and maintain network security measures to safeguard against threats and vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure network reliability and performance.
- Manage and update network documentation.
- Stay abreast of emerging network technologies and industry best practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in relevant technologies.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols and technologies (TCP/IP, routing protocols, VLANs, VPNs, etc.).
- Experience with network equipment configuration and management (Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, etc.).
- Practical experience with Firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet, and Cisco).
- Practical experience with F5 LTM and GTM/DNS.
- Proficient in advanced troubleshooting in diverse network and security environments.
- Network certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are highly desirable.
