<li>Experience building and shipping one or more consumer-facing products.</li>
<li>Keen eye for user interface design and API structure.</li>
<li>Hands-on experience and understanding of cloud platforms.</li>

Job Description:
Position: Software Development Engineer (Backend)
Location: Dubai
Work Type: Full Time
We are seeking an individual passionate about building the next big thing and making a true impact in the region.
Key Responsibilities:

<li>Implement high-quality solutions designed and built to last and scale in a timely manner.</li>
<li>Translate designs and wire-frames into API skeletons and component architectures.</li>
<li>Identify new libraries/patterns/platforms to continuously improve architecture.</li>
<li>Prototype new features and wire-frames cross-functionally with the product team.</li>
<li>Design and implement low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications.</li>
<li>Design scalable data models and architecture.</li>
<li>Contribute to planning, roadmaps, and integration plans.</li>
<li>Perform cost, performance, and security assessments.</li>
</ul>
Competencies:
<ul>
<li>Strong computer science fundamentals in system design, data structures, and algorithms.</li>
<li>Strong proficiency in Database Design and Software Architecture.</li>
<li>Strong expertise in Python or NodeJS.</li>
<li>Experience with writing and maintaining unit tests.</li>
<li>Strong proficiency in server languages, frameworks, and understanding their pros &amp; cons.</li>
<li>SQL/NoSQL databases and Database architecture skills.</li>
<li>Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (strong experience with GCP is a plus).</li>
<li>Accountability and Ownership: Self-driven individual who can build and maintain high-scale projects end-to-end.</li>
